Rubber stamps are highly durable. When you buy a custom branded stamp, you will be able to enjoy great functionality from the same stamp for many years to come. This is tremendously beneficial because the same stamp will give you many years of affordable service. As our stamps are so durable it is critical to settle on the right stamp design for your business. The last thing you want is to order a stamp that doesn’t have all the detail you need or that doesn’t result in a pleasing imprint.
At  Dial A Stamp, customer satisfaction is our main priority and that is exactly why we have concluded this following guide to help you choose the perfect stamp design when you order.
Step One – Choose Your Stamp Type
We have a wide range of stamp types available at  Dial A Stamp and each type of stamp is available in different sizes and shapes. You can choose from self-inking stamps, traditional rubber stamps, date stamps, common seals and pre-inked stamps. All of our stamp types are highly durable but we especially recommend our customisable self-inking stamps and self-inking date stamps because these stamps are so highly durable, clean and tidy, easy to use and if used correctly give a perfect impression no matter how frequently you use them.
Step Two – Consider Your Need
Now that you have the stamp size you will be using, it is time for you to start working on the perfect design. One of the first things you need to consider is the main function of the stamp. Are you going to use it to create business cards, letterheads, to brand documentation or do you need a simple stamp that will ease sorting and labelling documentation? A stamp that is practical for office use only can be simple in design and can be created without a logo. Stamps that will be used for branding your business or for identifying documentation will need to be fully addressed and should contain your business name and logo.
Step 3 – Consider Your Content
Once you understand what your stamp will be used for, you will know what to put on it. At  Dial A Stamp we can custom design your stamp to contain any text or graphics you desire. You can add any of the following information types to your stamp:
- Business name
- Tax number
- Company registration number
- Business logo
- Decorative elements such as ornamental lines, floral designs or borders
- Pictures or graphics such as thumbs up, smiley face or more
- Company address
- Contact numbers
- Postal address
- Email address
- Business slogan
- Main business services
- Trading hours
- Informative text – such as ‘quotation’ ‘invoice’ ‘sold’ ‘paid’ ‘completed’ ‘approved’ ‘declined’
Step 4 – Design Your Stamp
Now that you know exactly what your stamp size is and what information you need to display on your stamp, it is time to get it designed. It is always best to work with a graphic designer for the stamp design or create your own artwork. All files should be high resolution (preferably black & white) pdf, jpeg, ai or similar. The file can then be emailed to Dial A Stamp.  Some types of graphics such as photographs and particularly detailed logos don’t work well in stamp form – the simpler the better for stamp production.
Dial A Stamp will advise you if your logo or artwork will not produce a clear image.
Step 5 – Confirm And Order
Before ordering you will have to preview your order. It is incredibly important to check for flaws such as spelling errors, wrong numbers or other mistakes because once you confirm the stamp the onus is on you. If you are happy with the design and information then simply place your order online or email directly and we will get it delivered to your doorstep in no time at all.
Dial A Stamp makes it incredibly easy to get a custom-designed stamp for your business. Give us a call if you have any questions with regards to your stamp design or if you need a bit of help at creating a beautiful stamp design that suits your business image perfectly.
